DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng will be chosen Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as Prime Minister if Pakatan Rakyat managed to take over the reins of government even though he was convicted of sodomy.

Prior to this, the MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek tried to question the candidate on the People's Alliance became prime minister if the coalition wins the elections.

"We have been told many times. Anwar will become prime minister. We have already said who would be prime minister when the People's Alliance won. So, it is very clear, "he said.

Anwar believes the success of the rally BERSIH 2.0 proves that the Alliance had a chance to win better than the 2008 general elections, thus capturing the BN-controlled Putrajaya over the years.
